An update on the changes...

Here is a little update for ya's. Mike has left; it has been strange since he is gone, but I am glad he is off having fun travelling.

I am still working at Cartier. At this rate it looks like I'll never have enough money saved up to travel. Good news though, I am going to be getting 4 shifts a week now, which should help bring in some more moula. I am also getting a raise to $20/hour now, which is also good. I am getting back into the habit of making my lunches for work, and limiting the number of nights I go out to save money.

I need to find someone to move into my apartment. I will be working on that because the sooner someone is found the better as I am paying for the whole room atm (at the moment). It should not take long to find someone.

I am becoming more active, and looking to engage myself more. I will go to bed early tonight, wake up early, and get some morning exercise to prepare myself for my day. Oh how much more one can accomplish by getting an early start to the day, and so I shall begin.

I have resumed listening to french lessons. I have also placed the Twilight book, and other self-help books on my phone to help me get through the workday.

I posted an Ad on Gumtree a few days ago looking for a business mentor, someone who could provide me some advice on starting my own business and what not. Someone has contacted me from that ad, and we are meeting for coffee at 2pm on Monday. I will let you know how that goes. You can check the ad I posted here.

I am also looking into signing up for classes...for anything. Tai chi, yoga, maybe learning another language, who knows. I will keep my eyes out for something interesting where I could meet people other than a bar.

Mike's last night...

Hey, Mike and I are just heading out to a concert at Sydney Uni for his last night here. He leaves at 4am to go and catch his flight to Perth. Things are going to be different now that he is gone, but I wish him the best of luck in his travels. Hopefully we can catch up sooner than later.

Soundwave tomorrow/today.

Hey, just a quick post to let you know that I am heading to soundwave music festival tomorrow. Hopefully Mike can get us in for free by getting on the guestlist. He knows people. Also, I will post the pictures of Blue Mountains/Jenolan Caves that I went to on Thursday, up soon. I took about 177 pictures so I have to go through and post the best ones. Here is a taste though...

I'm still alive...

Hey, I am still alive. Sorry for the post delay but I has been raining here in Sydney for the last week and a bit so I have not been up to anything exciting or worth posting. I am looking forward to the next beach day. I went and saw the movie Ghost Town tonight with my friend Damien; it was a good film.

I need to start getting things back in order. I need to find another job so I can work more hours as I am only getting 24 hours a week now. I need to start exercising regularly and eating healthier. As for my housing situation, I am going to continue living in the same apartment now, just when Mike moves out on the 24th of Feb, my friend Jill will move in to take his place. Other than that, I will continue to work on getting things together, and keeping them that way. I'll keep you updated.

Whats been going on? Not much.

It has been 8 days since my last post. My bad. I have done a little bit since then, nothing too crazy.

This is Luna Park, it is an amusement park across the bridge. Very small, but could be a fun place to take a date.

As for the today I went to the beach. No way! Really? Yeah I did. The surf has been crap all week, which figures considering it's the week I have 4 days off... But, I will make the best of it regardless.

I found a pair of Oakley glasses at the beach! Here is what they look like. I have wanted a new pair of glasses for awhile now since my old Oakley's are about hmm, 8 years old, and outdated for me. The glasses I found are Oakley Fives and me likey. Sorry to the person who lost them, but such is life I guess.
